Clinical Presentation

Chief Complaint: 7-day-old male with respiratory distress

  • Born at term; Apgar 8/9
  • Shortly after birth, presented with respiratory failure and was placed on CPAP
  • A large amount of ETT secretion

Prenatal/Birth History: Unremarkable

Pre-biopsy Physical Examination and Radiology Findings:

  • Situs inversus totalis
Dextrocardia and right-sided stomach

  • >50 mid-shaft cilia are examined.
